Ab September (oder notfalls ab Oktober) ist in der Frauen-WG des interkulturellen Lernens am Münsterplatz das, meine ich, schönste Zimmer zu vermieten. Die deutsche Teilnehmerin der letzten Semester zieht aus. Es hat sich gezeigt, dass möglichst jemand einziehen sollte, die mindestens ein Jahr gern dort wohnen und an unseren Treffen und Unternehmungen teilnehmen möchte. Zu viel Wechsel bringt zu wenig Sorgfalt für eine eigentlich heimatliche Wohnung. Die Warmmiete für das Zimmer ist derzeit 249.-. In der Wohnung wohnen noch vier andere Frauen aus verschiedenen Ländern. Es gibt ein großes Bad und eine zweite Toilette und eine freundlich eingerichtete Küche für geselliges Zusammensitzen. Die kleinere Runde der WGs (neun Studierende) und die größere persönliche Nähe, die durch das Zusammenwohnen möglich werden kann, wird für das interkulturelle Lernen genutzt.

Intercultural living and learning

Intercultural living
You live in the very centre of Ulm in a flat together with either two or three men or with three or four women of different countries, cultures, and religions. You share the daily life und some duties in the household of the flat.

Intercultural learning
You get an intercultural learning program during the semester. Therefore, you participate in about six appointments. On the subjects we agree in the beginning, they are ranging from “How do people learn in which country – how do I learn in Germany?” to “great feasts in different cultures”.

Holder of the flats and the program: Evangelical-Lutheran (Christian) student fellowship Ulm
Lease will usually be given for one year; if you stay longer in Ulm, we will have an evaluation towards the end and decide together about an extension.
The furnished rooms for one person have a size between 11,5 m² and 15,5 m² and cost currently between 220,- and 290.- € incl. heating / month. The rooms for one or two persons have a size about 30 m² and cost currently 380,- resp. 400,- € incl. heating.

Apartment for rent

In Ulm, Böfingen-Süd (formerly known as Braunland), an apartment ("granny flat") is for hire for a woman from February 1st, 2011 on. 40 m², partly furnished (kitchenet). There is a storage room with wardrobe, a shower and a toilet. Access to the apartment via the garden or through the end-terrace house in which the apartment is located. In case of good weather you also may sit in the garden. Rent: 375 € including heating plus electricity costs (there is an own electricity meter).
