Cooperation with China

A delegation of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China visited the Medical Faculty of Ulm University to discuss future cooperatoin between the Chinese and German University.

Vice president Prof. Guo-Qiang Chen and the chinese delegation discussed common research interests and the exchange of guest professors with Prof. Dr. Thomas Wirth, Dean of the Medical Faculty, and numerous representatives of Ulm University .
Furthermore, the interaction between doctoral students and the International Graduate School in Molecular Medicine Ulm, funded by the Excellence Initiative of the German Federal and State Governments, was discussed on the round table.
The German delegation plans a return visit to Shanghai for the second half of the year.
