Quality Assurance Funds

December 21, 2011 the state parliament of Baden-Wurttemberg passed the law on abolishing tuition fee in  Baden-Wurttemberg. Ulm University now receives each semester for each student quality assurance funds of 280 Euro.

The funds have to be spent on improving the quality of teaching and studying. In July 2012 the senate of Ulm University decided on the procedures for allocating the quality assurance funds to the university's departments and facilities. The senate also ruled that the university reports once a year on the expenditure of the quality assurance funds.
