Web CMS

The kiz operates the content management system for management of websites (web cms) for the university. A web CMS is a complex editorial system which enables a complete seperation of the content creation and maintenance from the technical generation of the HTML code. For editors it makes it a lot easier to create websites which fulfill all requirements of international HTML standards and of the corporate design because they only have to take care of the actual content.

The WEB-CMS is supposed to replace the Web classic in the long run for institutes and other facilities of the university. For the time being both services will be oprated parallel. Websites which still use web classic will be accessible under their old URL for an unlimited time. You decide for yourself if and when you want to change to WEB-CMS. Please note that only the kiz operates the technical platform of the WEB-CMS and maintains all features according to specifications. The institutions are responsible themselves for the editorial creation and transfer of the content from the old internet apperance.
