Telephone Rates
The charging of the telephone extensions within telephone network of the university is carried out in fixed time units according to the call charge of the telephone provider.
The prices are used for rating of the institutes of the university, the university hospital, the university of applied sciences, des property and building department, the student services as well as any connected external user and also the charging of private phone calls after §3, section 3.3 DAV. Overhead rate will not be risen.
For simplifying the charging 0,01 EUR will be added for every call made and then total sum is rounded off to the whole cent. Due to that a call always costs at least 0,01 EUR.
Examples:
- 1 Sec City, local calls, Baden-Württemberg costs exactly 0,000125 EUR.
0,01 EUR are charged - 30 Sec City, Nah, Baden-Württemberg cost exactly 0,00375 EUR.
0,01 EUR are charged - 150 Sec City, Nah, Baden-Württemberg cost exactly 0,01874 EUR.
0,02 EUR are charged - 360 Sec City, Nah, Baden-Württemberg cost exactly 0,044982 EUR.
0,05 EUR are charged
Premium-rate calls
The price rates for premium-rate calls (prefixes "0181" or "0900") are set by the service providers. Since callers can request individual billing methods (in some cases months after the call ) the state has decided on the following policy:
premium rate calls will either be blocked completely or a flat rate will be charged. Therefore, premium-rate calls placed through our phone system will be charged according to the following rates:
- 0181 = 0,99 EUR/min
- 0900 = 2,99 EUR/min
Private calls
To get an outgoing line for private calls the "91" has to be dialed instead of the "0".
