Software Overview
Overview of available scientific software that is installed on our servers or that can be installed on workstations and servers of your institute.
Microsoft Windows
We offer detailed information on the configuration and conceptual design of systems that are integrated in an ADS domain.
For questions about the operation of computers with operating systems of all kind we offer certain IT consultation hours for departments of the university.
ASKnet Software Shop of the University of Ulm
The kiz has installed a software shop in the Academic Center of the ASKnet Softwarehouse. Various user packages can be ordered her at discounted rates and even partially downloaded directly.
Software in PC-Pools
The installed software within the different PC labs of the kiz (Windows and Linux) is listed in an overview of the PC labs.
FTP-Mirrors
On the FTP server you will find mirrors of Suse Linux, RFCs and SelfHTML (amon others).
Documentations
A collection of online documentations of software which is used at the kiz or can be abtained via the kiz.
