The digital collection covers over 21,000 titles in the areas of computer science, applied information technology, media and software engineering, as well as media and game design. The content is from the world's leading publishers in these fields: O’Reilly, Pearson, Addison-Wesley, Microsoft Press, and many others.

Langenscheidt e-dictionaries

A collection of both language and specialist dictionaries, including, for example, English, French, Russian, and Spanish, as well as the most commonly used Duden dictionaries.

SpringerReference

Here you will find a lot of encyclopedias, compendiums and atlases covering all subject areas represented as a database.

Springer eBooks: Business and Economics (2009 - 2010)

This business and economics package contains e-books in English published by Springer, Gabler, and Physica in 2009 and 2010.

The collection covers the following subject areas:

Kürschners Deutscher Gelehrten-Kalender Online

This database contains information on over 77,000 scholars currently working in academic institutions in German-speaking countries, including approximately 8,800 scholars who have been reported as deceased since 1996. Entries include biographical and career data, research field, awards, and a selected bibliography of his or her most current and important publications.

Springer eBooks: Medicine (2005 - 2008)

Browse through 1,275 e-books in English published from 2005 to 2008. In addition, some titles in French and Spanish are available.

Springer eBooks: Chemistry and Materials Science (2005 - 2008)

Here you have access to a substantial selection of monographs, handbooks, and encyclopedias. Six hundred and twenty-two titles, published from 2005 to 2008, enabel scientists to gain a very good insight into current research in chemistry and materials sciences.

Karger eBooks (1997 - 2009)

The Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation) has provided the funding to include back volumes from the Karger eBooks Collection (1997-2009) to its National License package. Now all sites that participate in the Karger consortial package (a subscription to Karger journals) or have applied for a subscription to the Karger Journal Archive Collection have access.

Elsevier eBooks on ScienceDirect - Mathematics (1949 - 2008)

This collection contains numerous series, including titles from both the backlist (1949-2006) and frontlist (2007-2008).

RSC eBook Collection (1968 - 2009)

The Royal Society of Chemistry eBook Collection is a comprehensive source of essential chemical science literature. Over 898 titles have been digitized into PDF files and are fully searchable.

PaperC

A new e-book platform with 17,000 titles form renowned publishers. Although you may read online for free, downloads or paper copies cost 10 cents per page.
