Course Reserves

Click on the following link to view the course reserves collection:
Instructors have the opportunity to place course-related library materials as well as electronic and multimedia course material on reserve for use during their classes. Students therefore have easy access to class material—whether it be simple lecture notes or a video. Go to our online catalog to view the current list of course reserves (see link above). Physical reserved items are on seperate shelves in the relevant reading room for that subject.
Please note that books on course reserve are to be used in the reading room. In most cases, course reserves can be checked out on limited loan (overnight and over the weekend). For more information, please ask at the Circulation Desk.
Collection sites and use
Physical reserved items are housed in two seperate locations: the Helmholtzstraße departmental library (math and economics) and the central library (all other subject fields).
Course reserves are listed in our online catalog (see the left-hand column between Interlibrary Loan and New Acquisitions). Reserves are arranged according to faculty, followed by the last name of the instructor and, where appropriate, the name of the course.

How to use the list
- Choose the desired faculty.
- The list can be sorted by title, author, or publication date in ascending or descending order.
- The information comes directly from the online catalog, so you can check to see how many copies the Library owns. Maybe you will find another copy that you can check out for the normal loan period (four weeks).
- For a printable version of the list, click on the printer icon on the right-hand side of the toolbar.
- You can also determine at which site the item is held: at the central library or the Helmholtzstraße departmental library.
