Queues & Drivers

Print outs are possible at following locations:

• kiz University East
• kiz University West
• Computer Labs

To install the printer on your computer or notebook please read our installation manuall. The printers are already preinstalled in the computer labs and on the Unix-Server of the kiz.

Laser printer (colored)

Queue name: pittore

Supporting Queue for print jobs which cannot use the above mentioned PPD:

• Queue name: pittore2side
  Result: paper print outs in A4 or A3 format, printed on both sides

Laser printer (black/white)

• Queue name: laser
  Result: print out in A4 format, printed on both sides
• Queue name: laser1side
  Result: print out in A4 format, printed on one side

  Result: print out in A3 format, printed on both sides

Large format Inkjet Printer (Photo quality)

  Result: Poster with a max. printable width of 149.5 cm

  Result: Poster with a slightly glossy laminate coating, max. width like arte_xl

  Result: Poster with matte laminate coating, max. width like arte_xl

Please note:
In the near future the laser printers (black/white) in all the kiz computer labs will support recycled paper.
Check the printer queue info for an up-to-date list of printers using recycled paper.
