Learn the basics on how to use the Library effectively.
You will be given a guided tour of the central library, which includes an overview of the library's facilities, resources, and services. We will explain the layout of the Library, how we organize library materials, borrowing privileges, and our Internet workstation and study carrel policies.
Our instructors will provide valuable library catalog search tips (including practice exercises) and a general overview of library account management, namely ordering articles or reserving and renewing library materials.
We recommend that you attend the second part of our basics workshop Library Basics 2, where you will learn more about our e-resources and the various methods of obtaining materials from other libraries.
