Central Student Advisory Services

We provide information, assistance and advice:

• before you begin your studies, to help you decide which programme is right for you
  (You can come to us for support as a grammar school pupil or after you have received your certificate of eligibility for university entrance.)
• for new students, in order to overcome beginner's difficulties
• for students with academic difficulties and problems
• for University graduates after degree completion
• for students with handicaps

Even if you yourself are not studying at the University, but have questions about studying for other reasons, you can contact us: e. g. as a grammar school sixth form teacher or parent.

You can contact us by telephone, post or email, or even drop by our office personally during office hours without an appointment.

A brief chat with our staff at the advising office will serve to clear up any questions you may have. You will receive the information and materials you desire, as well as any necessary addresses or tips about aid offered within or outside of the University.

If you desire a more in-depth discussion about your questions and problems, we would be happy to offer you a personal advising session.

Studienorientierungsverfahren

Wenn Sie Ihr Studium an einer baden-württembergischen Hochschule beginnen, müssen Sie nachweisen, dass Sie an einem Studienorientierungsverfahren teilgenommen haben. Diesen Nachweis legen Sie bei der Immatrikulation an der Universität Ulm vor (Teilnahmezertifikat genügt).
