Distinguished Student Paper Award
As in previous years, the DL Workshop selected a Distinguished Student Paper among the accepted submissions. This year the award goes to the paper "Temporal Query Answering in DL-Lite" by Stefan Borgwardt, Marcel Lippmann and Veronika Thost. The award comes with a prize of 400 euros.

This distinction is meant to encourage independent work by young researchers in the field, for which DL Workshop is an ideal platform. The award is therefore limited to papers that are authored without the direct participation of senior researchers. The term "student" is meant in a wide sense. A paper was eligible as Distinguished Student Paper if all of its authors are undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral students at the time of the submission. This included anyone who has not yet received a doctoral degree in a related field.
