The 18th HeTech Workshop will follow the format of the previous workshops. It is intended to bring together young scientists, engineers and post graduate students working in the field of compound semiconductor and other heterogeneous technologies focusing on materials and devices for electronics, optoelectronics and sensing. As an example, novel material configurations and novel device concepts, like nano-wire devices and bio- chemical sensing are topics of increasing interest among others.
