Welcome to the Website of the Institute of Electron Devices and Circuits
Ulm University's Institute for Electron Devices and Circuits was founded in 1989. Its research activities are devoted to
- the technology and applications of novel electronic and electromechanical devices fabricated from large-bandgap semiconductors, with an emphasis on diamond and GaN
- high-speed analog circuits and RF microsystems using Silicon and compound semiconductor technologies.
The Competence Center on Integrated Circuits in Communications, a public-private partnership, is organized as part of the institute.
