The book has been published in the Springer LNAI (Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence) series. It comprises thoroughly refereed and revised papers from two international workshops jointly organized by David Riaño, Richard Lenz, Silvia Miksch, Mor Peleg, Manfred Reichert, and Annette ten Teije – the 7th International Workshop on Knowledge Representation for Health Care  (KR4HC) and the 8th International Workshop on Process-oriented Information Systems in Healthcare (ProHealth). The KR4HC’15 / ProHealth‘15 workshops took place in Pavia, Italy in June 2015.
