“SeaFlows - A Compliance Checking Framwork for Supporting the Process Lifecycle”

at the University of Ulm, Germany. The DBIS team is pleased to congratulate Thao on her successful PhD defense and wishes her all the best for his future. In her PhD, Thao Ly developed a framework for supporting business process compliance along the complete process lifecycle. Starting with the process design phase, SeaFlows provides solutions for capturing compliance requirements and for enriching process models with imposed compliance rules. Going beyond pure compliance rule documentation, SeaFlows enables the verification of process models but also already running process instances against imposed compliance rules.

Thao's did her research in the context of the Opens internal link in current windowSeaflows project, partially funded by DFG and conducted in close cooperation with the University of Vienna, Research Group Workflow Systems and Technology.
