Dr. Gregor Grambow

Gregor Grambow obtained a Masters degree from the Karlsruhe University of applied sciences and gained practical experience working as software engineer in the high technology region around Karlsruhe. Before coming to Ulm, he worked for 3 years as a research assistant with Prof. Roy Oberhauser at Aalen University.

He finished his PhD Thesis, supervised by Manfred Reichert and titled "Context-aware Process Management for the Software Engineering Domain" in 2016. He worked in the SustainHub project that is founded by the European Union.

He likes to spend his leisure time with music production, synthesizers, and various other areas of electronic music.

Research

His research interests include next generation process management technology, semantic technologies, context management, and software engineering. In his PhD thesis, he establishes a semantic extension of process management technology to enable a more intelligent, contextual, and self-adaptive process execution.

Gregor is part of the editorial board for the following international journals:

  • Int'l Journal On Advances in Intelligent Systems (2011-present)
  • Int'l Journal On Advances in Software (2011-present)

Gregor is part of the program committee of the following international conferences:

  • The Int'l Conference on Advances in Semantic Processing (SEMAPRO, 2011-present)
  • The Int'l Conference on Adaptive and Self-Adaptive Systems and Applications (ADAPTIVE, 2011-present)
  • The Int'l Conference on Software Engineering Advances (ICSEA, 2012-present)
  • The Int'l Conference on Software Paradigm Trends (ICSOFT-PT, 2013-present)
