Research group Michael Weber
Our research group focuses on research of novel interaction concepts in the following research areas:
- today's and future ICT systems, especially in the domain of ubiquitous and pervasive computing. We research the possibilities of multimodal interaction and further develop user-centric solutions for privacy in ubicomp systems.
- interaction between humans and cars in autonomous driving, in particular in handover procedures in semi-autonomous driving
- interaction between players and games, particularly in adaptive games and serious games. This includes the investigation of possible methods of player assessment, and potential conclusions about player behaviour and preferences. Further, we develop approaches for the implementation of adaptive game systems and content.
Our research finds application in the areas automotive, mobility, health, and assisted living, as well as games and serious games.
