Seminar Photorealistic Rendering, Winter Term 2017/18

Photorealistic rendering is a collection of techniques that allow for calculation of light transport in a way to make the results (nearly) indistinguishable from photos. These techniques are often physically based. Together, we will explore these fields. Each participant is to prepare and present one topic.

Requirements

To successfully complete the seminar the following requirements have to be fulfilled:

  • Written paper on a selected topic, German or English (English preferred)
  • 20 minutes presentation with questions and answers at the end, German or English
  • Active participation in peer reviews and discussions
  • Meet the schedule

Organisational details

The seminar will be held as two block courses at the end of the semester.
