Description

The project "Experimental Software Engineering" has been conducted for several years as a cooperation with Daimler AG. Interesting research questions of Daimler are elaborated empirically  in the environment of the university.

This term, focus is on requirements engineering. During the first part of the project, a new approach for efficient reviewing of requirements documentation is used and analysed. The second part allows for creating a new requirements document by using a newly developed tool and approach.

In both parts, real (anonymised) requirements documents from Daimler are used and thus, allow for an insight in the complexity of current documentation in the automotive area.

Additionally, a visit of the Daimler Museum in Stuttgart ist planned and, of course, this project is a good opportunity to socialise with Daimler AG resulting quite often in an engagement.
