Students of Computational Science and Engineering (CSE)

Academic achievements obtained abroad are recognised by the Examination Board upon request from the student. Students have to apply for the recognition of each examination separately. The Application form for the recognition of academic achievements and additional pages (if you wish to have more than one achievement recognized) can be downloaded from <link en study exam-administration forms-and-guides-for-students _blank external-link-new-window internen link im aktuellen>here.

Please make sure that the equivalence of the course attended abroad has been confirmed by Ulm University prior to  the recognition of academic achievements. If you wish to have the credits, obtained at a foreign university, recognised for your compulsory elective modules,  the corresponding course has to be approved for the required elective area. The approval is issued by  <link mawi mawi-numerik professoren urban internal-link internal link in current>Professor Urban or the <link mawi mawi-cse pruefungsausschuss-cse internal-link internal link in current>Examination Board. For the approval the following documents are required:

  • Transcript of records (will be issued by the foreign university in a timely manner and delivered or send to the student), a copy is sufficient - you should never give the original document to anyone.
