Promotion of Young Scientists
The Medical Faculty has established the following programs for the promotion of young scientists:
1. The promotion of medical students through the doctoral program Experimental Medicine (Head 
Prof. Dr. Thomas Wirth, PD Dr. Dieter Brockmann, Contact Dr. Ruth Knipper-Willmann)
2. The promotion of PhD students in the natural sciences through the 
International Graduate School in Molecular Medicine Ulm (Heads Prof. Dr. Michael Kühl, PD Dr. Dieter Brockmann, Contact Julia Kutzenberger, Bettina Braun)
3. Support for young postdoctoral researchers establishing their own independent research projects (Contact Dr. Ruth Knipper-Willmann, PD Dr. Dieter Brockmann)
