Dr. Michael Gommel
Michael Gommel was born in Heidenheim an der Brenz, Germany. He studied biology at Ulm University and at the Charité in Berlin. His PhD thesis focussed on the idea of man in 20th century human biology in Germany. He also graduated as a Systemic Coach and Change Manager. Since 1995 he has been a member of the Study Group Ethics in Medicine at Ulm University. From 1997 to 2001 he worked as a teaching assistant at the Department of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy, and from 2001 to 2007 as the scientific coordinator of the Study Group Ethics in Medicine. Since 2008, he workes as a consultant, trainer and lecturer for health care in Berlin.
