Born in Berlin; undergraduate studies in history of science and technology at Technische Universität Berlin and library science at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin; graduate studies in History of Science at the University of Oklahoma; M.A. 2007; since 2009 PhD candidate at the Institute for History, Philosophy and Ethics of Medicine at Ulm University.

My research interests include History of Biology (Evolution and Classification in the life and human sciences), History of Eugenics, Medicine in Nazi Germany, and History of Urology (Urology in Nazi Germany)
