Information for the PhD students

Every participant will give a short presentation of about 5 minutes with a following discussion (also about 5 minutes). We suggest using not more than five slides for the presentation. If possible consider the feedback of your reviewer.

Possible structure for the slides

  • title and research question (on what question will you focus on´; 1 slide)
  • background / theory (why is this research question important; 1 slide)
  • method (With which method will you get an answer for the question? 1 or 2 slide)
  • First results or expected results (1 or 2 slides)
  • Open questions (be open to ask questions to the senior researchers for theoretical or methodical problems or getting feedback on points where you are uncertain; 1 slide).

Extended deadline for submissions

due to several requests, the deadline for submission for the joint meeting of EARLI SIG 6 and 7 in Ulm has been extended by one week. The new submission deadline is April 22, 2010. [mehr]
