Preface

The seminar is open to both Bachlor and Master/Diplom students.

The application procedure will be online only. The application starts Wednesday, 8th of February 18:00h. Applications before that time stamp will be deleted. You do not have to come to our offices at that date, just apply only.

Please note that the topic list is only available inside the University's network. If you want to access the information from the outside please use the WebVPN.

FAQ & Organisational matters

• What do i have to do to apply? You simply click on the application link, which will appear on the application date, fill out the form and wait. You will receive an email once the registration period ended. Do do not have to come to He18 on the application date, we accept applications online only!
  
  
• How do I pass the seminar? You (=your group) write a paper, give a presentation and participate in the general discussion.
  
  
• What about the paper? The paper (approx. 25p) can be written in english or german, we will receive guidelines on the thesis later.
  
  
• What about the presentation? The presentation (30min) and general discussion (10min) should be held in english.
  
  
• Do I get a grade? Yes. Your paper (weight of 60%), presentation (20%) and participation in the discussion (20%) will be graded and lead to one grade.
  
  
• I cannot see the topics list. Please use the WebVPN to log into the university's network. If you do not have an UUlm account you are not supposed to see our topics (sssh secret research in progress)
