The Neuro-Metabolism Initiative at the University focuses on metabolic aspects of neurodegenerative diseases. Aim of this initiative is to connect different working groups of the university interested in neurodegenerative diseases and/or metabolism.

The Neuroinflammation group belongs to the experimental neurology and focuses on inflammatory processes in the brain of neurodegenerative diseases and how these processes can be targeted therapeutical.
