The CBU 2011 Symposium has successfully finished.

Almost 60 scientists from 9 nations have attended the symposium in order to present their work and to discuss current research topics in computational biomechanics.

The CBU 2011 committee wishes to thank all speakers, chairmen, participants, sponsors and helping hands for their great contributions.

We would also like to congratulate the winner of the zmfu Best Paper Award, Dipl.-Ing. Maike Sturmat and coauthor Prof. Markus Böl from the Institute of Solid Mechanics, TU Braunschweig, for their outstanding presentation "Investigations in electromechanical skeletal muscle contractions".
