This course covers the human-centered conception, design and evaluation of spoken dialogue systems.
In the framework of spoken dialogue systems development and human factor studies several individual topics are proposed as practical studies. They may depend on the current research topics at the Dialogue Systems Group and the Human Factors Department. Two students will work in a group with respective backgrounds in computer science and psychology. Based on human-centred design appraoch a concept of dialogue system will developed, implemented and evaluated over the course of the two semesters.
This course is done in cooperation with the the Human Factors Group of the Institute of Psychology and Education.
