Since the foundation of the network "Learning in later life" during a conference in Ulm (1995), ZAWiW is engaged in the promotion of exchange and co-operation between organisations of senior education and seniors themselves. Following the three years running Socrates-Project LiLL
www.lill-online.net there were further international activities, e.g. conferences, exchanges of seniors and European co-operation projects.
Projects are co-ordinated partly by ZAWiW, partly also by other organisations. All projects co-ordinated by ZAWiW include the use of new communication technologies and active participation of the senior students.
