
A Grundtvig introductory course (course reference number DE-2010-1007-001). Total duration: 6 weeks, including a 1 week´s presence course at Ulm University. Date: May 17th - June 25th, 2010 (presence stage: June 7th - 11th, 2010 + travel days)
This workshop is intended for professionals and volunteers, especially those participating in seniors’ exchange projects in Europe, who wish to apply the new information and communication media in seniors‘ education.
The course is divided into three stages:
1. The preparatory phase, the virtual course "Technical basis for virtual learning" (TvL), provides a technical fundament and prepares for the face-to-face stage of the course. (Expenditure of time per week approx. 3 hours)
2. The face-to-face stage of the course in Ulm provides an introduction to fundamental principles of virtual learning and the didactics of seniors‘ education. Presented and analysed will be examples of good practice in the field. The theory and practice in designing a European project will provide the introduction needed for own praxis.
3. The third stage focuses on review of the learned material over an Internet forum.

The participation in the course will be supported by your National Agency. Please apply before January 15th, 2010.
The support of the National Agency includes the course fee and bed and board. You will also receive a grant for your travel costs. You organise the travel on your own. Travel days are June 6th and June 12th, 2010.
