that's me

Hi,
I am Lars Kecke, postdoctorate assistant at the institute for theoretical physics, University Ulm.

Born in 1977 in Hamburg, I also did my undergraduate and diploma studies there, the latter under the supervision of PD Dr. Wolfgang Häusler, on one-dimensional electron systems.

After finishing my diploma work in 2001, I joined the Grabert group in Freiburg, and continued to work with Dr. Häusler on quantum wires, and later on harmonically trapped 1D systems.

After finishing my PhD I worked with PD Dr. Joachim Ankerhold on Qubit readout for a short time, before going to Japan on a JSPS scholarship to work with Prof. Furusaki and coworkers on one-dimensional magnetic systems.
After returning to Germany, I joined Prof. Ankerhold's group in Ulm to work on transport in nanostructures. My current contact address is:
