Florian olde Heuvel was honoured with the prestigious CNS Award for his outstanding publication ‘Dynamics of synaptic damage in severe traumatic brain injury revealed by cerebrospinal fluid SNAP-25 and VILIP-1’. The prizewinner has been working in the field of traumatic brain injury for nine years and conducts research in the laboratory of Professor Francesco Roselli at the University of Ulm. The study, published on 27 April 2024, provides valuable insights into synaptic damage after severe traumatic brain injury.
