Registration and payment

Our system updates the status of all invoices daily at midnight so that the server is not overloaded with this task during the day.

The payment was probably made with an incorrect reference or was received too late. In this case, please contact us by email at hochschulsport(at)uni-ulm.de.

After the course places have been allocated, you will receive a separate invoice for each course you have booked, containing all the relevant information, on the following day.

The course fees must be paid by bank transfer. A separate transfer with the respective purpose of payment is required for each course.

Refunds

UNIfit contracts cannot be canceled. However, in the event of illness, it is possible to have the number of weeks missed added to the existing contract. To do so, a medical certificate confirming the period of inability to train must be presented.

If the course is canceled due to circumstances attributable to us, you will receive a full refund of the course fee. To do so, you must submit a refund request to the Sports Office by email, fill it out, and sign it.

If you are unable to attend a course yourself, the following rules apply:

  • A full refund is possible up to 14 days after the regular start of the course.
  • Between the 14th and 30th day after the start of the course, a processing fee of €5 will be retained.
  • From the 31st day onwards, a pro-rata refund is only possible with a medical certificate. The certificate must confirm that you are unable to attend more than half of the course dates due to injury.

UNIfit

You can register for UNIfit either directly at the counter at UNIfit with our full-time fitness trainer or at the Sports Office.

You can then pay for your UNIfit contract by bank transfer.

The UNIfit contract does not renew automatically. If you would like to renew it, please visit UNIfit or the Sports Office and fill out a renewal application.

Yes, the UNIfit contract is automatically extended by the number of weeks that UNIfit is closed between Christmas and New Year.

No, for insurance reasons, it is not possible to try out a training session at UNIfit or participate in a trial course.

Guests

Guest registration takes place after employees and students have chosen their courses. Guests cannot register online, but must submit their course registration by email to the Sports Office.

University sports are primarily aimed at university students. Therefore, they have priority and any free places are then made available to guests.

The university sports program is primarily designed for university students, offering them an affordable way to balance their studies or work with exercise.

Guests cannot rent sports facilities.

Unfortunately, only university students are allowed to participate in university sports tournaments.

No, it is not possible to put guests on a waiting list.

Guests are all persons who do not belong directly to Ulm University, Ulm University of Applied Sciences, Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences, the Student Services Association, or the University Hospital.

Guests can generally participate in all courses. Exceptions are noted on the respective course pages. Courses that are open to guests also display the corresponding guest price there. Only courses that still have places available and no waiting list are open for guest registration.

Guests are not eligible to sign a UNIfit contract.

Competitions

The registration deadlines can be found on the ADH website.

We usually cover travel expenses and all registration fees.

Sports facility rental

The sports facilities can be rented from the Sports Office once lectures have started.

The sports facility rental is valid until the last day of the lecture period.

Renting a sports facility for one hour per week throughout the entire lecture period costs €150.
