Research Data Management
Head: Dominik Seemann
The team advises on issues related to research data management. Research data is data that is generated in the course of research, e.g. measurement data, survey data and scientific software. The aim of research data management is to make these data reusable in the long term.
The team's tasks also include the conceptual and technical support and further development of OPARU (Open Access Repositorium der University of Ulm). This is the institutional repository of the University of Ulm, which serves on the one hand as a publication platform for publications and research data and on the other hand as a university bibliography for the University of Ulm.
In addition, the team participates in various projects on the topic of research data management, which are funded within the framework of the e-science initiative of the state of Baden-Württemberg, as well as in the course programme of the kiz.
