Start-Up Funding Program of the Medical Faculty (Bausteinprogramm)

Call for proposals - Funding period 2018/19
(Baustein 3.2 – Start-up funding and Baustein 3.2V – extension of the Start-up funding)

With immediate effect applications for individual funding of projects („Bausteinprogramm“) can be submitted.

The goal of this program for young scientists (called Bausteinprogramm in German) is to help them start their own research projects that enable them to achieve the previous work and publications that are usually required to successfully attract third-party funding.

Rotation positions (formerly called Baustein 3.4J/3.4S) will no longer be tendered within the Bausteinprogramm. The Medical Faculty of Ulm University currently plans a Clinician/Medical Scientist Program. The call for proposals is expected before the end of this year.

Please note that the following documents are available in German only.
But applications can also be submitted in English.

The document “Call for proposals” can be found here.

Application deadline: November 20, 2017 (11:00 a.m.)

Start of funding (planned): April 1, 2018

The general conditions can be read here.
