The Baden-Württemberg-Stiftung puts a focus on humanities and social science research approaches to advance the design and development of AI-based systems. The focus should therefore not be on the technically possible and feasible, but on the socially meaningful and responsible.

Projects are funded up to three years. A total of 4.0 million euros are available for the research programme.
