With its Elite programme, the Baden-Württemberg Foundation supports excellent young scientists after completing their doctorate who are aiming for a career at the university (professorship) .

Precondition for an application is an independent and new research project. The call does not extend to the field of clinical medicine. Funding is limited to three years and extends to a maximum of € 150,000. Personnel, travel, material and investments are financed. The postdoc position itself may not be paid from the funds of the Elite programme.
