With immediate effect applications for individual funding of projects („Bausteinprogramm“) can be submitted.
The goal of this program for young scientists (called Bausteinprogramm in German) is to help them start their own research projects that enable them to achieve the previous work and publications that are usually required to successfully attract third-party funding.
The faculy board of the Medical Faculty decided on January 29, 2020 and October 28, 2020 to increase the funding amount for initial applications to € 50,000 per project and year (starting from funding period 2020/21). Extension applications, that first approval was given in previous funding periods (before 2020/21), are excluded from this decision and are funded with € 40,000 per project and year.
As of now, also successful Clinician Scientists of the Clinician Scientist Program (CSP) have the opportunity to acquire material and/or personnel funds within the Bausteinprogramm for the 3rd year of the CSP (Module 3.2CS). For detailed information, please refer to the general conditions.
