Short biography:
Professor Klein has been working on the molecular basis of B-cell development and lymphomagenesis throughout his career. Following his PhD at the University of Cologne, he moved to Columbia University where he was promoted to Associate Professor in 2016. In 2017, he joined the University of Leeds, where he continues his work on elucidating the molecular mechanisms of the germinal center B-cell reaction in order to understand how the disruption of these mechanisms causes the malignant transformation of B cells.
