Multi-Object-Tracking and Localization

Multi-object tracking and localization both use the same mathematical framework - Random Finite Sets. They provide a probabilistic model for a multi-object state. Regarding the task of tracking the objects are typically cars, cyclists and pedestrians while in the context of localization the multi-object state is comprised of landmarks.
