Since April 2017 Aiko Wiegand and Niklas Vesely have been researching and working in the 7am project. The project goal is to automate the distribution of production orders and the matching of companies to manufacturers for their products. The software being developed in the project finds and compares data concerning the service, quality, pricing, and security of different manufacturers world wide and rates the information based on well-defined criteria.

The project is sponsored by the EXIST program of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) with a sum of 135.000 euros. Academic mentors for 7am are Prof. Manfred Reichert and Prof. Theobald.
