Springer Book on Process Flexibility
In September 2012, Manfred Reichert and Barbara Weber rolled out their book on "Enabling Flexibility in Process-Aware Information Systems", published by Springer. The overall goal of this book is to address flexibility needs of computerized processes and to provide an overview of flexibility issues in process-aware information systems including challenges, methods and technologies.
An initial impression is given by the following statement:
"The book is written by two renowned BPM experts and a must-read for all interested in flexible process support within information systems. It shows that BPM is not just about making diagrams. The real challenge is to realize information systems that support processes without jeopardizing flexibility. The authors present a wide range of powerful techniques to support this."
