Symposium: Molecular Visualization

Ulm University

Contemporary solutions to molecular visualization by internation experts of the field:

23rd September, 2015 | Room O27/32 11 | 9:00 - 12:30h

Researchers in visualization are faced with a number of challenges if it comes to visualize simulations of biochemical processes. Integrating the multitude of domain specific models, dealing with increasing amounts of data, the complexity of the data, as well as keeping up the visualization velocity and interactivity - these are all aspects which directly influence applied research.

Thus, the research group visual computing offers a symposium to discuss these issues. We have invited international domain experts. E.g. Ivan Viola, TU Vienna, will speak of bridging spacial and temporal scales in biological data. All will contribute intelligable, illustrated speaches of about 25 minutes length. See the schedule with abstracts for details.

The symposium is open to all all students and researchers who are interested in this inter-disciplinary field.
