Prof. Dr. Timo Ropinski was elected by the board of the GI Section "Visual Computing in Biology and Medicine" with an absolute majority as chairman. Together with deputy chairwoman Prof. Dr. Anja Henenmuth of the Charite Berlin, he will now lead the section, shape the technical orientation, and oversee the organization of the annual workshops.
