The integrated graduate school serves the institutional promotion of PhD candidates with the objective to train junior researchers with relevant interdisciplinary orientation and effectively integrate them in the international research community. It also aims to achieve a reduction of the average PhD period. The graduate school includes a structured and transparent support concept as well as a degree course that offers interdisciplinary oriented events in relation to central topics of the research program of the SFB/Transregio. Further it provides the aquisition of multidisciplinary key qualifications.
