A1.2 Your next step in an intensive course – for your studies, everyday life and career

In this advanced intensive course, you’ll consolidate your foundations in the German language – in a structured, practical way, whilst continuing to enjoy the learning process. You’ll build on what you learnt at the beginner level and, step by step, expand your vocabulary, grammar and communication skills.

Have you already gained some basic knowledge of German – whether on the A1.1 course or elsewhere – and now want to speak, understand and use the language with greater confidence? Would you like to continue learning in a compact format and make noticeable progress?

Then this language course with Christine Zwerger is just right for you.
Starting on Monday 21 September 2026, over three weeks, every Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 12 noon.

The course builds on the A1.1 intensive course – but don’t worry: if you’ve already learnt the basics elsewhere, you can of course join straight away. Having attended the previous course is helpful, but not essential.

Please note that participation in the FIT4U German courses does not lead to the award of ECTS credits.

Mainly for Master's students!

Welcome are Master's students with very little or basic knowledge of German (A1.1).  The goal is to communicate more securely in German inside and outside of university.

We will be working with the book “Momente A1.2” (Hueber) class book & work book. You will receive the books from us free of charge!

And of course we want you to enjoy the German language during the course. 

Please note that participation in the FIT4U German language courses does not lead to the awarding of ECTS.
