International Excursions

Ulm University visits the Alps – we would like to invite you to a one-day excursion to the Adventure Climbing Forest.

During the day at the northern border of the Alps, professional guides are going to introduce us to different challenges. We will have a go at the team circuit of the Adventure Climbing Forest. We will also get the chance to get creative and set up a zip line ourselves to cross a small gorge. And there will be more activities prepared for us. Nonetheless, there are no previous skills required to take part. At lunchtime, we will enjoy a traditional meal with local products and cake. We are looking forward to spend an entertaining day in the northern Alps with a big group of new and experienced students.

 

Who: German and international students/PhD students of Ulm University

Date: Sunday, May 6, 2018 | 8.30am - approx. 6.30pm return to Ulm

Where:  Adventure Climbing Forest Höllschlucht, Pfronten.

Meal: Traditional lunch with local products

Participation fee: € 17,-  (incl. lunch, transportation, entrance fee)

The excursion fee of € 90 includes: all bus transfers, 2x overnight stay, 2x breakfast, 1 x dinner, all guided visits, tours, entry fees. Please note, that other meals & drinks as well as further individual visits to sights are not included in the excursion fee!

This excursion is highly subsidised by the International Office in order to offer you this 3-day excursion with so many highlights at a very affordable price.

Registration - Fee - Payment

Payment of the fee has to be made by bank transfer. Proof of payment (scan/copy of the bank receipt) has to be submitted to to Ms. Margit Kast no later than 15 July, 2017. If the payment is not received within the deadline, the registration is cancelled. The fee is not refundable.

Highlight Excursion Oberstaufen (Saturday, November 16, 2019)

Ulm University visits the Alps!
 

Dear students,

we would like to invite you to our Semester Highlight - a one-day excursion to the Alps and to lots of fun at the Team Event Centre "Aktivzentrum Jürgen Koch".

During that day at the northern border of the Alps and close to Lake Constance we are going to have a nice morning walk exploring the beautiful surroundings. Back at the Centre, professional guides are going to introduce us to different challenges and we will have a go at the team circuit of the Aktivzentrum. It's going to be a bit more competitive during the so called "Allgäu Eventchallenge" where we participate in traditional southgerman games. And there will be even more activities prepared for us - you are in for a surprise! After a  long day filled with lots of fun and challenges, we will all be happy to calm down and to enjoy a traditional dinner with local products in a relaxing atmosphere before "boarding" our bus  that will bring us back home to Ulm.

We would be delighted to spending an entertaining day in the northern Alps with a big group of international students. So just sign up and meet us during that day!

This fee incudes lots of fun and challenges, the bus transfer from and back to Ulm and snacks for lunchtime as well as dinner. Please note, that you have to buy beverage yourself.
The event is significantly subsidised by the International Office in order to offer you this fun-day-excursion with so many highlights at a very affordable price.
