Explanations
Arrival Days
It is not possible to move into your room before or after the designated "Arrival Days", because the International Office has to make a number of arrangements for a big group of students (obtaining keys for student residence rooms, appointing tutors, etc.). Students who arrive earlier have to stay at a hotel or at the youth hostel at their own expense.
Orientation Period
Students wishing to participate in the orientation period should make sure to arrive on time so as not to miss any sessions of the intensive German language course. They need to plan in at least three "administrative days" before the start of the orientation days (working days, not Saturday/Sunday!).
Late Arrivals
Students who do not participate in the orientation / intensive language course, may arrive late. It is not possible to move into your room before the designated "Arrival Days", because the International Office has to make a number of arrangements for a big group of students (obtaining keys for student residence rooms, appointing tutors, etc.) Students who arrive earlier have to stay at a hotel or at the youth hostel at their own expense.
