Advising
Interested applicants are expected to inform themselves about the programs as well as the application deadlines and procedures during an information event as well as on our websites and/or in the Moodle course. General questions can be asked in the virtual office hours (study abroad counseling/online) or by email to: study-abroad@uni-ulm.de
Personal appointments will be offered only if specific questions cannot be clarified in the virtual consultation hours of the Study Abroad Advisory Service. The Study Abroad Advisory Service will then refer the case to the programme coordinators. However, the prerequisite is that the person seeking advising has participated in one of the regular information events or in the International Week (i.e. that a confirmation of participation is available at the International Office):
- Pathways abroad (for non-European programs and PROMOS)
- Semester abroad with Erasmus+ (for Erasmus exchange)

Exchange and Scholarhip Programmes
The International Office of Ulm University manages the following exchange and scholarship programmes. Applications can be submitted via the Mobility-Online portal. There is a separate application pipeline with a specific URL for each of the programmes and target groups:
In case you have already submitted an earlier application via Mobility-Online, please note that you must start a new application always via these links. Using the login of your previous application allows you only to edit the previous application.
If you want to continue working on an application which you have already begun, always use the link which you received via eMail after the registristration.
Application Periods and Deadlines
There are three application cycles per year. The application portal will be opened for approx. 6 weeks and closed again once the application deadline has arrived. The mobility periods for which you can apply during the individual application periods, vary according to programme.
